It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life // Yasmin

Adjusting to the modern lifestyle was not easy at all for Ivana. And how could it be? The last time she was in her beloved Russia she was running away from the castle, only because she was the rebellious princess she had always been. But who would've expected her to time-travel and get to London with a total stranger wearing funny clothes? He had introduced himself as The Doctor and nothing else, it didn't make sense at all. However, they had split ways, since she had decided that she had no interest in talking to such an ambiguous man as he was, and she was now stuck in a futuristic England she knew nothing about. However, she had managed to buy herself some clothes, some expensive ones, as she was used, and was now in a coffee shop, delicately sipping on the hot liquid which she decided was much better than what she was drinking back in Moscow.

Coming from a model job nearby, Yasmin decided to stop by Speedy's Café for a nice cup of tea and maybe a small snack. The pretty brunette, who wore her long hair in loose curls, entered the shop, wearing a dress with a creme top and a black skirt, that ended at her knees. To that she wore black high-heel sandals and a matching purse of course. She'd never leave the house without a matching purse.

The usual happy look with the warm smile on her face, she walked up to one of the tables by the window, spotting a woman sitting all by herself, wearing obviously expensive clothes. Yasmin wasn't sure if that woman looked familiar to her, or not, but... something about this woman was intriguing.  Looking at Ivana for a moment, she seemed somewhat lonely. So she decided to go and sit with her.

Walking up to the blond woman's table, her loose curls bouncing around her shoulders, Yasmin put on her always happy face, which almost never disappeared and stopped at the table. "Excuse me, ma'am." she said. "Do you mind if I join you?"

Delicately sipping from her black coffee, Ivana did not even bother to look around the coffee shop, look for familiar or intriguing faces. She felt like living in a fairytale, so everything was new to her. So new and weird, that she decided that she only had to remain the way she used to be and let fate do whatever she pleased, because it was nothing more she could do. She was stuck in a funny London, so she had to get used to it.

Hearing a feminine voice above, the blonde raised an eyebrow and slowly turned to look at the beautiful brunette, who actually had an interesting... something around her. Moving a lock of hair behind her ear, Ivana leaned back in her chair, gently crossing her legs.

"Ma'am? Seriously?" she replied, wrinkling her nose at being called that. She then sighed and shook her head, waving a dismissive hand. "Whatever. Yes, you may sit."

Yasmin was slightly put off by the woman's reply, but then simply shrugged it off. Being a model for so long, Yas wasn't the shy type of woman anymore, but she usually didn't just sit with strangers out of a mood. Some people might do that, but for her, this was actually one of few exceptions.

Without being able to describe it, Yas just felt that the pretty blonde looked somewhat lonely and lost inside this café. Just mostly minding her own business maybe. But having travelled with The Doctor for some time, she easily spotted someone who may look ordinary but actually didn't quite belong here. It was more a gut feeling than actually knowing. But Yas had no idea that the woman she just met, actually met The Doctor, too.

"You seemed a little lonely over here." Yas said in a friendly tone, after she sat down across from Ivana. She had that typical London accent in her voice as she spoke. "You're not from around London, I assume?"

Ivana hadn't meant to sound that rude when talking to the young woman; it was just something she considered difficult to control. While being a princess, she would always talk this way to her servants and no one would take it as offensive, but as something normal that had to happen, so everyone knew who was royalty and who was not. And however fussy and spoiled she was, the blonde was not a bad person, as it may have seemed at first.

Her blue eyes carefully inspected the girl's face as she moved closer and eventually sat down across from her. She took another sip of coffee, then gently put the cup back on its small plate. She was quick to notice the typical British accent in the other woman's voice, probably just as quick as she had noticed the heavy Russian accent in hers.
"No, I am not. I'm from Russia," she explained, holding her hand out over the table. "Ivana."
