Richard Holmes is a brilliant person and he was also quite friendly, but he has at times been described as annoying by the people around him due to his constant need to show off his intelligence and he also tends to point out errors that his superiors preformed thus earning him their hatred.

History:

Richard Holmes was born in March 12th 1921, in London, England, Richard was born into old money and his family always had strong connections in the government of the United Kingdoms. he married Helena Holmes nee Samuels, during the Second World War, Richard volunteered for service in the armed forces, Richard was a marksman. During the year 1944, Richard was deployed deep into German lines after Allied intelligence discovered a secret German laboratory, during the mission, Richard's team was slaughtered in the first 10 minutes of the drop, using his intelligence, Richard managed to infiltrate the laboratory and discovered that the Germans were attempting to create a time machine. Richard managed to sabotage the machine, thus causing it to malfunction, the last thing Richard saw was a explosion and the next thing he knows he in back in London, but in the year of 2012.

Richard Holmes is the grandfather of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes.
